What's your best mile? The Forest Avenue Mile. It's
all downhill from start to finish, so expect fast times.

On Sunday, March 4,
2018 at 12:10pm, The Staten Island Athletic Club
will host the Forest Avenue Mile. A favorite among
many runners for over 20 years, this race always
promises excitement, surprise, and fast times
due to its continuous downhill incline from start to
finish.
To register for this race, please click on the "PAPER APPLICATION" button to the right for a printable race application or to register online, click on the "ONLINE REGISTRATION" button. Pre-Race pick-up is at: PepperJack Grill, 316 Manor Road, Thursday, March 1, 7:00-9:00PM Race day registration is at Marmar Restaurant, 370 Forest Avenue. Please read the time and date details printed in the race application that you can access by clicking on the "PAPER APPLICATION" button to the right. Awards to the top 3 in each of the following age groups (male and female): Grade School (5th-8th), High School (9th-12th), 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69. Note: Immediately after this race finishes, the Staten Island St. Patrick's Day Parade will begin along the same race route. Please keep in mind that due to a large number of spectators attending the Parade, parking may be hard to find, so please leave early for the race. |
