What better way to start off your Brooklyn Pride Saturday than with a morning 5K (3.1 mile) LGBTQIA+ fun run? You'll be joined by hundreds of runners from across NYC and beyond as you race through scenic and historic Prospect Park, and a portion of your registration fee will go toward Brooklyn Pride's newly developed Volunteer Grant, designed to celebrate local non-profit organizations that provide direct support services to the LGBTQIA+ community.  Click here for more information about the 2019 Brooklyn Pride LGBTQIA+ 5K Run Volunteer Grant, or to submit an application.
 
The race is co-sponsored by Brooklyn Pride, The Estée Lauder Companies,  and Front Runners New York. Brooklyn Pride is one of the largest and most prominent organizations serving Brooklyn’s LGBTQIA+ community. Be sure to check out all the other festivities during Brooklyn Pride Week!

The race directors are working to make this the best Brooklyn Pride run yet in 23 years of history! Every runner will receive a specially-designed Brooklyn Pride Run tech t-shirt and a custom engraved Brooklyn Pride Run finisher’s medal. 

AWARDS

There will also be prizes for the Top 3 M/F/TGNC Overall & Top M/F/TGNC Age Group Finishers: 13 & Under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+

FEES

5K Run/Walk: $35 Until Midnight May 5, $40 Until Race Day

RUN WITH FRNY!

Front Runners New York is an LGBT running club with organized long runs, speed training, multisport workouts, socials events, and much, much more. The club is a supportive community for athletes of all ability levels and interest. Everyone is welcome to join fun runs on Wednesday night and Saturday morning in Manhattan, and Tuesday night in Brooklyn.
