ABOUT
St. John’s Athletics invites you to the Red Storm 5K Run/Walk presented by BODYARMOR. This race will take place on a USATF-certified course entirely within St. John’s University’s Queens campus. The race will start at 3:00 PM & the Junior Johnnies Fun Run at 4:15
Kids 12 and under are also invited to join in on the fun at the FREE Junior Johnnies Fun Run. Each runner will receive a prize at the end of their race. All the Fun Runs will take place in the area next to the post-Race Fan Fest by Belson Stadium.

The race will start on Stadium Rd in front of Kaiser Stadium. The course will then loop around the inside of campus roads ultimately finishing back at the original start line. The course will give runners a full tour of campus including many of the most iconic landmarks including Carnesecca Arena, the Great Lawn and the beautiful D'Angelo Center. There will be mile markers and water stations throughout the course.
Entry Fees:
5K Registration is $25 for SJU Students and $35 for all others through 10/13. Registration will increase to $40 on race-day. Online registration ends 10/13/16 at midnight but you may still sign up in person day of race.
Bib Pickup:
Saturday, October 14th, race day from 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM outside Belson Stadium
Parking and Transportation:
Parking is available on St. John’s campus next to the start line and the Q46 bus will drop you right in front of the university if public transportation is your means of travel.
AMENITIES + AWARDS
The first 400 5K runners will receive a commemorative shirt on race day and there will be special prizes for the top 3 male and female finishers as well as age group champions.
Stick around after for the post-race festivities after the finish line in the lawn outside Belson Stadium for refreshments as well as other FREE GIVEAWAYS from SJU Athletics, BODYARMOR, Under Armour & MORE

- Top 3 finishers in the following age categories:
1-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over
