From the makers of the Paumanok Pursuit 70K Run & Relay, the Indian Island Trail 5K & 15K and the Pine Barrens Marathon & Half Marathon.
VENUE
The WILDWOOD AMPHIBION is a multi-stage biathlon style race. Categories will be Swim/Run, SUP/Run or Kayak/Run. There will be 3 water legs and 2 run legs. The water legs are all in the pristine Wildwood Lake and will be .75 mile/1.5 miles/.75 mile for swimmers; and 2.25 miles/1.5 miles/2.25 miles for SUPers & Kayakers. The run portion will be all trail and quite challenging. The first run leg will be a 6.2 mile rolling loop and the second run leg will be an out and back hilly 4 miles, both in the NYSDEC David A. Sarnoff Preserve property deep in the Long Island Pine Barrens. A two person relay division entry will be available, one person does the water sections and the other the run sections. Enjoy the unspoiled lands that we still call our Long Island. This race is not for the novice athlete, be prepared. There is NO PARKING AT THE RACE START!!! Watercraft can be dropped off at the race start BEFORE 7:00 a.m. We will accommodate shuttle bus transportation from a general parking area at the Suffolk County Center off of County Rd. 51 at 310 Center Drive S. Riverhead, NY 11901 to the race start at Wildwood Lake Park Beach.

Solo $140 until 9/15 and then $160
2 Person Relay $160 until 9/15 and then $180
CHECK IN
Day of Race starting at 7:00AM
MANDATORY PARKING
There is NO PARKING ON SITE OR ON SURROUNDING ROADS! All parking will be at the Suffolk County Center off of County Rd. 104 310 Center Drive S. Riverhead, NY 11901 approximately 1 mile from the race start entrance. Shuttle bus service will begin promptly at 6:45 A.M. and run every 15 minutes. The LAST SHUTTLE BUS will be at 8:15 A.M. Shuttle bus service after the race will begin at approximately 11:30 A.M. Thank you for your cooperation! (PS: You could mountain bike from the Suffolk County Center if you'd like, bring a lock and find a tree. We won't be responsible for your bike or property!)
