ABOUT
REMEMBERING: Billy Barnes, a Baysider and electrician who tragically died while working on the Throgs Neck Bridge in 2009.
BENEFITS THE BAYSIDE HISTORICAL SOCIETY: to support the educational programs, events, lectures and workshops reaching children and adults in all of Queens and Nassau. Participating in the Totten Trot is a great way to support this NYC Landmark Officer’s Club known as the “Castle”and its programs.

COURSE
Waterfront course in Historic Fort Totten Park on Little Neck Bay in Bayside, a pristine stretch surrounding a preserved Civil War fortress. Runners will pass through the Historic District which consists of buildings dating to the late 1800’s. The Fort is situated where the Long Island Sound meets the East River at the Throgs Neck Bridge. The start & finish are located at the Landmark Officers’ Club home of the Bayside Historical Society. The course includes a loop out onto the Little Bay Path to the Throgs Neck Bridge and back to the fort.
