ABOUT

Shana attended the SYJCC’s Early Childhood Center & Summer Camps as a child, and carried on her passion for community pride and athletics in the Commack School District through her high school graduation.

Shana’s parents continue to be active members and supporters of SYJCC and the local community.  

The SYJCC is proud to be hosting the 7th Annual Shana Kay Memorial 5K Run/Walk in October 2017. This year’s proceeds will be used to build a dedicated children & teen play space, including an indoor rock climbing wall, dedicated to Shana. Additional funding is provided in part by the Shana Kay Foundation and the Kay Family.
