Saturday September 16, 2017 for the 2nd Annual Maria Regina 5K Michael J. Califano Race for the Future

We are raising money to support the construction for a new playground and outdoor basketball court at our school named after Michael J. Califano. Michael was a former alumnus of and parent at Maria Regina School who was killed in the line of duty, working to protect and serve as a Nassau County Police Officer, on February 5, 2011. We are looking to secure a prosperous future for the whole Maria Regina community. Creating this space will create a positive impact for our young children.

5k Run/Walk ONLINE prior to Race $25: Day of Registration $30

Kids FunRun & Obstacle Course $10.00 (Online & Day Of Race)

8:50 Runner's warm up/stretch facilitated by Ultimate Performance & Fitness

9:00 am - 5K Race begins

9:00 am - Kids Obstacle Course & Run Facilitated by Ultimate Performance and Fitness

Start & Finish: At the Maria Regina School Race Route: USATF Certified 5km (3.107 miles) Flat & Fast

This 5K race will start and finish on school property while the race course will be through the neighborhood. The course is certified by USA Track and Field so bring all your favorite running friends. If you are not up to running please still participate by walking the course.
