ABOUT THE EVENT

Operation: Heal Our Heroes’ mission is to raise awareness and resources to help end the suicide epidemic taking the lives of nearly 20 veterans each day due to their suffering from service-related Post Traumatic Stress (PTS). The goal of Survivor Series: Montauk is to raise $50,000, which will provide 10 veterans with a lifetime of private mental health care services and support.
Operation: HOH Survivor Series: Montauk is a 5K trail race that will take place along scenic Fort Pond Bay in Edward Ecker Country Park, beginning at 10:00am on Saturday, August 5th.
For those that want to test their mettle, we have designed a special Team Challenge event where you are only as strong as your weakest link:
HOH CHALLENGE
Teams will compete in the Survivor Series Challenge, which will be a timed 5K race with a twist. Each team must also collectively shoulder several objects for the duration of the course in order to be eligible for awards.
After the 5K race, teams that qualify will compete in a variety of physical team relays, followed by a Tug of War bracket challenge where points will determine who will be crowned the “HOH Strongest Survivors.”
- For Teams that raise/contribute $2500 / For Individuals that raise/contribute $500
Each individual will receive a FULL refund of their Entrance Fee
- For Teams that raise/contribute $5000 / For Individuals that raise/contribute $1000
Each individual will receive a FULL refund of their Entrance Fee, FREE admission to the HOH Summer Soiree @ Ruschmeyer's ; open bar beginning at 6pm ($100 value) + HOH Special Swag Bag
"Every $5,000 will enable one veteran to receive a lifetime of support services as provided through Headstrong Project and the Weil Cornell Medical Center."
INDIVIDUALS
Single racers can compete in the Survivor Series, which will be a timed 5K race. Participants will receive an HOH ‘swag bag’ with a T-shirt and other items, along with an action photograph produced by the event coordinators, elitefeats.
Operation HOH will be hosting the Summer Soiree later that evening in Montauk at Ruschmeyer's beginning at 6pm. HOH Challenge participants that raise/contribute (TEAM) $5000+ / (INDIV) $1000+ will receive free admission; tickets also sold separately and available through www.operationHOH.com/events
AMENITIES & AWARDS
Participants will receive an HOH Race Shirt, Food & Beverages, FREE BEER post-race, and an action photograph from the competition!
