St. John’s Athletics invites you to the Red Storm 5K Run/Walk presented by BODYARMOR. This race will take place on a USATF-certified course entirely within St. John’s University’s Queens campus.  The race will start at 4:00 PM & the Junior Johnnies Fun Run at 5:15
 

Kids 12 and under are also invited to join in on the fun at the FREE Junior Johnnies Fun Run. Each runner will receive a prize at the end of their race. All the Fun Runs will take place in the area next to the post-Race Fan Fest by Belson Stadium.
 

Course:
The race will start on the DaSilvia Field Track. The course will then loop around the inside of a campus road for two laps with the third lap finishing behind Carnesecca Arena and the finish line will be on the track. there will be mile markers and a water point on the track that racers will pass on each of the three laps around campus.

Entry Fees:
5K Registration is $25 for SJU Students and $35 for all others through 10/14. Registration will increase to $40 on race-day. Online registration ends 10/14/16 at midnight but you may still sign up in person day of race.

Bib Pickup:
Friday, October 14th 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM inside Carnesecca Arena lobby.
Saturday, October 15th, race day from 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM outside Belson Stadium.

Parking and Transportation:
Parking is available on St. John’s campus next to the start line and the Q46 bus will drop you right in front of the university if public transportation is your means of travel.

5K Awards:
- Top 3 Overall Male & Female
- Top 3 finishers in the following age categories:
   1-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over

Amenities:
The first 400 5K runners will receive a commemorative shirt on race day and there will be special prizes for the top 3 male and female finishers as well as age group champions. Stick around after for the post-race festivities at the DaSilva Memorial Field Track/Lacrosse Complex for bananas, bagels, and coffee as well as other FREE GIVEAWAYS from SJU Athletics, BODYARMOR, Under Armour & more.
