5K TO SUPPORT FEMALE VETERANS NEEDS

#5K4Fighters 

This year’s 5K 4 Fighters 5K Run/Walk will be a virtual event this year. In these new and ever changing times, we want everyone to be healthy and safe.  This year has been a struggle on many levels for all of us, and we want all of our sponsors, runners, volunteers, veterans and friends to know that we are still committed to our cause, and appreciate the past 4 years of support you have all been a part of.
The virtual run donations will go directly to helping Women veterans that are in crisis right now. We still want our women vets to feel supported and to know we are all in this together!
Please register online and then run or walk wherever you are on or around October 10th or whenever you can.
Registration is at a reduced cost. We won’t have run shirts this year, but your bib will be mailed to you with instructions on how to participate.
As well as a 2020 landyard to the first 100 who sign up and a nostalgic memento while they last!

Show us your run!! Send in your stats and photos! Use the hashtag #5K4Fighters. Maybe you can get a small group together in your area and have a fun race!
Strava is a free app that will allow you to record your run, to get a true 3.1 miles.

To all our Sponsors: Over the past four years you have been loyal and dedicated to assisting our women veterans. You have gone above and beyond in your support.  We cannot thank you enough for your unwavering dedication to our mission.    

This year, we are not asking for sponsors to donate any money, as this has been a trying time for all of us. Instead, we will be adding logos of previous sponsors to our site, for the duration of time that the race site is open. In addition any sponsor that was on the race bib in 2019, will also be featured on the 2020 race bib.

If you have the ability and want  to make a donation this year, you can do so here, or mail in a check to the office. All donations go directly to assisting women veterans in need.

Nor are they transferable from year to year. Once you are signed up, race fees are used for race expenses and cannot be returned.

In consideration of accepting this entry, I understand and agree to be legally bound hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors and waive, release and hold harmless 5k 4 Fighters Race, EOC of Suffolk, Inc., The Women's Marines Association, Shorefront Park, The Village of Patchogue, elitefeats inc., and any volunteers and all race sponsors and their agents, employees and representatives for any and all injuries, claims, liabilities and causes of action related to my participation in this event. I attest that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that my condition has been verified by a licensed medical doctor. I further grant permission to any of the foregoing organizations to take and use photographs, video, and recordings or any other record of this event for any purpose whatsoever.

If signed by a parent, the parent agrees to release and hold the above-named organizations and persons harmless of any claims which may be asserted by or on behalf of the entrant as well.

EARLY REGISTRANTS (before 10/9) can start posting times 10/10 - 10/18.
LATE REGISTRANTS (after 10/9) allow up to 24 hours to post times.
BIB MAILING begins 10/5. Please allow 3-5 Business days to receive.
You don't need the bib to run/walk, it's a keepsake!
