5K Fun Run / Walk: Individual Participation is $100

HOH Team Challenge: Team Participation is $1,000 deposit for a team of five and then a pledge to raise $5,000 as a group of five through our fundraising here.  After raising the $5,000 the $1,000 deposit is refunded!

About the event:

Operation: Heal Our Heroes’ mission is to raise awareness and resources to help end the suicide epidemic taking the lives of nearly 20 veterans each day due to their suffering from service-related Post Traumatic Stress (PTS). The goal of Survivor Series: Montauk is to raise $50,000, which will provide 10 veterans with a lifetime of private mental health care services and support.

Operation: HOH Survivor Series: Montauk is a 5K trail race that will take place along scenic Fort Pond Bay in Edward Ecker Country Park, beginning at 9:00am on Saturday, August 20th.

For those that want to test their mettle, we have designed a special Team Challenge event where you are only as strong as your weakest link:

1) HOH Team Challenge - Pledge to Raise $5,000

• It is a $1,000 deposit for the Team of five to signup for the HOH Challenge - they then must pledge to raise $5,000.  After raising the $5,000 the $1,000 deposit is refunded!
• Each team of 5 that pledges to raise $5,000 will enable one veteran to receive a lifetime of support services as provided through Headstrong Project and the Weil Cornell Medical Center.
• Teams will compete in the Survivor Series Challenge, which will be a timed 5K race with a twist. Each team must also collectively shoulder several objects for the duration of the course in order to be eligible for awards.
• After the 5K race, teams that qualify will compete in a variety of physical team relays, followed by a Tug of War bracket challenge where points will determine who will be crowned the “HOH Strongest Survivors.”

2) Individual Participation - $100

• Single racers can compete in the Survivor Series, which will be a timed 5K race.  Participants will receive an HOH ‘swag bag’ with a T-shirt and other items, along with an action photograph produced by the event coordinators, elitefeats.
• Raise $500 and get your entry free refunded!
