The SJ 5K (formally the Festival 5K) is in memory of Sr. Jackie Walsh, RSM, a spirited and loving member of the Syosset-Woodbury and Hicksville communities. Sr. Jackie was tragically killed by a hit and run driver on July 9, 2012. It is in memory of Sr. Jackie’s compassionate, humble, and vibrant nature that we invite you to honor her legacy by participating in the 3rd SJ 5K to benefit the Sr. Jackie Memorial Fund.

USATF-Certified 5K course

Entry Fees:
5K Run/Walk:  $30 pre-registration, $35 day of race.
Kids Fun Run: $15 pre-registration, $20 day of race.

Virtual Runner:
If you can’t run/walk the race, please consider donating $30 to
support the Sr. Jackie Memorial Fund and to receive a Dri-FIT t-shirt
(Pick up at St. Edward's Gymnasium during race check-in on Friday or Saturday)

Friday, May 20th, 3 PM to 8 PM at the St. Edward's Gymnasium.
