Run, Walk, Praise is a walk/run like no other. It is designed to be a fun and engaging experience that brings the community together and create an exciting, healthy and family-friendly environment.

In addition to the run/walk, the event will feature a Day Party that showcases, music, dance and spoken word. Attendees will remember this as an event like no other!

We are on a mission to make our communities healthier with running, dance, and music in an environment that educates and inspires.

OUR CHARITY

The Theta Iota Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated in co-sponsorship with the Ivy Foundation Suffolk/Nassau Counties Inc. produces programs all year long that enrich the community through family building exercises, education about economics and finance as well as programs to enhance youth and adult learning.

Donations for this event will support Women’s Healthcare and Wellness. The primary focus will be breast cancer awareness and prevention, heart health, nutrition and wellness and care for the caregivers.
